William D. Watley

Preacher, theologian, conference lecturer, scholar, and retired AME Senior Pastor, Dr. William D. Watley is a renown minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His scholaeship regarding biblical history as it relates to persons of African descent, can help persons who resisted the Gospel of Jesus Christ because of the challenges experienced by the African diaspora come to faith in Jesus, simply by sharing little known truths in the Word of God that pertain to persons of color and the roles they played in history as God Almighty worked his plan of Redemption in the earth. Dr. Watley is a former Senior Pastor of the historic Saint Philip African Methodist Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from St. Louis University, a Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center, as well as a Master of Philosophy and a Doctor of Philosophy in Ethics from Columbia University.
